They teach financial literacy, not wealth building
They won't teach you to be rich
I’ve been coaching on Money since before I knew that I was doing it. I created resources for my friends about investing and what to expect when they purchased their first home.
I coached the CEO at a late staged start-up where I worked as a Produce Owner - they committed a 6-figure sum to support racial equity.
Now, for the past few years, I’ve been coaching within my own business, Hello Neysa.
I don’t think about my competitors as a coach because I’m not a product. I’m not a consultant. I don’t have a methodology. I create transformation through conversations.
Recently, however, I put serious thought behind what my competitors are doing. I asked, “Who are the people talking about money online today and how are they different or similar to me?” You probably know a lot of them and listen to their content.
They promise they can teach you about wealth, teach you how the money system works, and it’s all really impressive.
Some of them have finance backgrounds while others produce a library of courses that are really accessible. Honestly, it all sounds great. Financial literacy is important. My favorite expert is Tiffany, The Budgetnista…
But when you’re an entrepreneur, it’s different.
You can’t just automate everything and trade in your luxury car for something more economical because you want to build wealth. Money isn’t about literacy or knowledge, it’s about your thoughts, beliefs, and behavior.
With coaching, it isn’t about what you do after the money hits your account, it’s how you position yourself before hand in order to attract it.
You’re not just making money or side hustling. You’re leading, stewarding, and painting a vision that other people have to buy into.
For entrepreneurs, money isn’t about numbers.
Your relationship with money as an entrepreneur isn’t about what you can save. Sometimes it’s what you’re willing to lose.
Investing in your 401k won’t make you a millionaire in your 30’s. Taking risk does that. Building a business, creating an asset, and delivering value does that.
It’s not about the total market index. It’s about your ability to stay on your path even though your emotions are running high.
Tori from Her First 100k didn’t become a millionaire by saving. She did that by building an 8-figure business and she’s the first one to tell you the same.
What the online experts do is give a simple blueprint that anyone with a good job can follow and live a good life…
But what I do is support you through mapping out your own blueprint. No one can teach you to be rich, just like no one can teach you to be who you are. You’re the only person in the world that will ever live your life.
The conversations we’ll have together supports you through defining what that life looks like through the power of money.
The link below is a great place to start. I’m hosting a masterclass that goes into more detail and I’ll demonstrate what this looks like in real time.
